You can plump dried fruit in almost any liquid, so why not whiskey? The figs balance the heat of the whiskey the same way that vermouth or simple syrup
balances it in a cocktail. These sweet bourbon bombs are wonderful with aged cheeses, salty bleus, and creamy bries.
They also make for a delightful garnish in an Old Fashioned cocktail.
