So you’ve just cardio-blasted your way through Drake’s mixtape and now you’re ready to refuel. You think to yourself, “I can eat whatever I want because I worked out and I’m awesome and a better person because I exercise and I’m also magic.” Woah man, you need to check yourself, cause your jazzercise routine isn’t going to save your ass from fattening under the weight of binge eating. While you do need to eat after strenuous exercise in order to replenish nutrients, where you get those calories matters. If you voraciously go after a burger and fries with soda after you work out, your whole work out will be wasted. As my favorite youtube trainer Coach Kozack says, “Abs are made in the kitchen, not just in the gym.” One of the best foods to eat after a work out is high-quality cheese.
